Don't get what check/calls that flop then leads this turn, maybe QQ/JJ?

I go big on the river, say $6.50.

pre great, i prefer pot over 3x as my ep default - but that's just a style thing. Flop anything $0.85-$1.15 is good. River is all about trying to generate calls from the range that you beat, he's not c-raising as a bluff ever cos he knows that people struggle to fold trips-TK. He rarely has KJ/KT so you're trying to get value from 99-QQ. $3.90. Maybe smaller.

Or bigger to make it look like bs and increase the $EV of the bet?

Tricky spot as such a player is only calling with stuff you beat if he think's you don't have a K. (I suppose there are 2 combos including a K he could have, but way more pairs). $3.90 just looks like it wants a call. I doubt he folds many hands he would have called $3.90 with to $6.50-6.80, and that bet doesn't have to get called as often to be >+$EV.

An argument for betting less would be if boats are in his range. Can't see boats checking the river though.
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

or if he gets all 'i think he's got a king, but pot-odds, gotta be good 1 in 6, fuck it, sucks, have to call though'

there are boats in his range. They check river cos they hope we have a king (noting that we aren't calling without a king here very often if they bet river) that we have to bet, and then fail to bet-fold

you dont think he's ever betting JJ that doesnt want me to bluff the scare card or 9Ts or Axcc. you dont think he ever has worse Ks(prolly not). If he fired again on this river I would definitely be concerned as its hard for him to bet this river without at least trip Ks and I dont beat many of the combos of that he can have if any. thinking of cards I like on the river if he bets and I can't think of one but that doesnt mean he's not betting worse on the turn. I dont think folding vs this guy would be terrible and it maybe better than calling, interested in what others think.

how do you have T9s or Axs when you opened utg? i thought his range here seems really strong because the king is kind of having sex with your range, but i think you should listen to d0zer and m2m

turn bet looks like he's protecting his set and hoping for a raise from more than likely an aggro kickass with a K. IDK

I'm not concerned enough about a flop c/c 1/2 pot turn lead to fold the turn, no.

river halfpawt/fold seems about right. If your image is bad you can probably get away with betting more, but I think a 13/8 at these stakes is more likely to interpret a big bet as strength instead of a bluff from someone with a clean image.

in my experience at these stakes betting bigger than standard with strong, but non-nut hands, in the hope villain will think it is more likely to be a bluff hasn't worked. especially not in FR vs a nit. i go $4.5 and fold to any raise
