    Default River Line? nl25

    Hi Villian is best kind 80/23/2 w/ 56 ATs and 4.2 3 bet% raises c bet 8%.

I chose to raise 66 here the player that limped in had a limp fold at 100%. The button and blinds were uber tight except this hag player who had position on me.

My question is what would my best choice be for a turn bet size that would negate the best implied odds situation? And yet still aquiring value? And my best action on the river?

Should I have made full pot size bet on turn rather than %70 of pot? Or made turn bet half size which could have left me in same situation as actual bet. Or shove turn?

    No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    CO ($10)
    Button ($8.75)
    SB ($17.10)
    BB ($20.10)
    UTG ($14.20)
    Hero (UTG+1) ($30.60)
    MP1 ($13.65)
    MP2 ($25)

    Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with 6, 6
    UTG calls $0.25, Hero bets $1.25, 1 fold, MP2 calls $1.25, 4 folds, UTG calls $1

    Flop: ($4.10) A, 6, Q (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $3, MP2 calls $3, 1 fold

    Turn: ($10.10) J (2 players)
    Hero bets $7, MP2 calls $7

    River: ($24.10) K (2 players)

villain is an 80/23 retard and there's an ace on the board, so you can like shove flop and he'll still call with top pair. i'm not encouraging that, i'm just saying that just bet 3.50 or so on the flop and 9.75 on turn, and he's calling with the exact same range.

shove and c/f are absolutely our only two sensible options on the river. c/c is retarded because he's not going to bluff this river very often, and he's gonna check behind all sorts of crap that we beat that woulda called a bet, so b/f is a better way to get value if you still think we can. there's no such thing as a blocking bet size that doesn't make us pot stuck.

i think this is a shove 'cause there are more combos of Ax's and two pairs in his range than Tx's and flushes, but it's not great. such an easier spot if bet flop and turn more

a bet is incorrect because we're behind his range
like if he plays any two broadways and two clubs the same we're behind that range
and he could always show up with TT-AA for no apparent reason

the only hands I still beat by the river are AJ, AK, AQ most of which I think he would 3 bet me having a %4+ three bet. So do you think a check fold is possible here. Only way I could think check fold is betting smaller on the turn? If he was on a flush draw I gave him 2.4-1 odds on the turn where he only needed $9ish to make his implied odds right from me on the river. Any bet commits us. Would a shove on the turn been any better or C/F the river against his range?

I just pot flop and bet big on turn then jam any river, if he has a flush so be it. Getting more money into the pot earlier will reduce his implied odds when he hits and theoretically make you more money overall.

Not like he's folding an ace or a flush draw ever if you bet big on early streets.

I think you can safely c/f this river.
