I see a lot of hands posted where people are unsure how to play against random/unknown players. I have found the 'report' section on PT3 useful for this.

I have run a report (filtered for my regular game) on players that I have less than 50 hands against. I have found it very useful in my decision making. It currently takes it stats from a pool of 7,685 players and 42,284 hands. Below are just some of the averages it provides me with:-

Stats for the average random player

VPIP ... 25%
PF Raise First In ... 19% (I used to have PFR but I find this more useful)
PF 3B ... 8%
Fold to PF 3B ... 34%
Attempt to steal from button ... 28%
C-bet flop ... 70%
Raise flop ... 5%
Fold to flop c-bet ... 50%

I have other stats but these are the ones I find most useful. I also have other reports filtered by position that I find useful.

I think it's the sort of thing everyone could benefit from and I recommend that everyone does it for their own regular game. I think it's also worth running a similar report on your regs. I found the difference between the two groups to be both striking and enlightening.
