Default Quick question: Post BB or wait for the BB?

Being that I intend to play NL ring alot more and take it seriously I wanted to know what is the advantage or disadvantage of this?

I usually await for the bb, it gives me time to add the sessions at www.pokertracking.com, and watch my opponents a bit, but I need your input thanks!

Ah didn't even think about late positions in considering, I normally wait b/c I don't know who the regulars are at 10NL yet. Thanks for the advice.

I always wait. Check how you do when paying a full blind over 20K hands and get back to me. from the CO in FR maybe but otherwise wait.

I almost always wait, cos I'm getting a bunch of other tables open while I'm waiting. Sometimes if I'm on the button or cut-off I post.

I play FR only for now, but I am with you on that daven, I am busy opening other tables, getting my sessions noted on my online tracking website, etc.

It won't make that much of a difference in the long run whether you post dead or wait. Online I wait because it doesn't take long, and I can watch a few hands. If it were live, I would post so that the other players don't take me too seriously and try to play better against me, or avoid me.

Rarely are you required to post in live games. You are just dealt in and pick up the next blind as it comes around.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Figure a hundo hands per hour. Want to cut your winrate by 1bb/100 for a 1 hr session?
