This term comes from limit. It just tells you which bet you made (i.e. first, second, third) on a particular street. e.g. After the flop UTG bets, MP raises and CO reraises. The other way to say this is UTG bets, MP 2bets, and CO 3bets.

Before the flop the blinds counts as a bet so if the CO raises and the button reraises you say the CO is 2betting and the button is 3betting.

The first number is VP$IP (voluntarily put $ in pot). It is the percentage of pots that I put some money in preflop that isnt a blind. e.g. If my VPIP is 24% then im seeing around 24% of flops and Im loose. If my VPIP is 1% then im only playing AA.

The second number is the percentage of times I raise before the flop (PFR). If Im raising 21% of hands preflop im aggressive.

The third number is aggression factor. This is the ratio of times I but or raise (aggressive moves) compared with checking and calling (passive moves). In your example I am betting and raising 9 times more often than I am checking and calling.

You can put the numbers together and say I am pretty loose (24% VPIP) and very aggressive (21% PFR & 9 AF). This gives you a base to start from when getting reads on me. You can guess things like I probably dont have a monster hand every time I bet or raise.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.
