A Question of Odds

I wonder if someone could clarify a point regarding drawing odds. If for example I hold AsJs and the flop comes 3sTd7s. There is $30 in the pot and to make the call I have to put in $10 giving me pot odds of 3:1. The question is do I take the odds of making the flush on the turn - approx. 4:1 and thereby folding or do I take the odds of making the flush on the turn or river - approx. 2:1 and therby making the call?

You would actually be getting 4:1 odds because someone will have bet 10 dollars for you to call. And yes the flush draw is 4:1 for the next street and that is how you calculate it. If you, for some reason, were going allin then you would use 2:1 odds.

Also assuming you are getting 3:1 pot odds for a flush draw, it is almost always correct to call because of the implied odds for when you do hit your flush.

Also on that board, u would more than likely call if u assumed that pairing your Ace or even your Jack would also give you the best hand
