Default Question about Rakeback and other Poker sites

I've been playing on Full Tilt for about a month now and after a steady 3-4 week losing streak while learning the ins and outs of 2NL, I'm finally starting to regularly beat the game.

Not knowing anything about online poker when I first signed up, I didn't sign up through a rakeback affiliate. I e-mailed Full Tilt and other rakeback sites to see if there was anyway I could still get rakeback and have been turned down. My goal in online poker is to keep moving up in stakes and make a nice supplementary income

My question to you guys is what do you suggest w/r/t lack of rakeback at Full Tilt? I've come up with 3 options...

    1. Move my $35ish current bankroll over to a place like ultimatebet, get rakeback, build it to $600, then move to Pokerstars.

    2. Bypass the suspicious non-full tilt/pokerstars sites, suck it up and grind away at Full Tilt until I reach $600 then move to Pokerstars.

    3. Just move to PokerStars now and not worry about getting max. initial deposit bonus, since it is so tough to profit at microstakes w/o rakeback.

...or anything else I didn't think of.

    Thanks guys

Did you try RakebackPros? I made the same mistake, but they worked things out with Full Tilt and got me RB.

Yeah I actually read your post in that rakeback forum and tried the same thing you did but they told me that I had signed up through some other affiliate and they couldn't give me rakeback. Which is strange b/c I'm pretty positive I went directly to fulltiltpoker.com when I originally registered....

Spoon always had the best info on this kind of stuff but I think in general you're best of with your money on stars first and moving it later for rakeback/bonuses on another site. There was a thread a while ago with the %'s.

Yeah I know I'm best on PokerStars in the end, and that is where I plan to end up... but I guess my question is should I wait and build my bankroll at FTP despite not having rakback, since i'm there already, to get max initial deposit bonus at PokerStars, or is it more beneficial to just get to PokerStars right away even if I depost less than $50
