    Default Question

    Pretty general question there.

Examining your hand histories basically teach you where you made mistakes. You can look athtem and say "I made a bad call there," or "I should have folded, there" or "You know what... he just sucked out on me, I played it well" or "I could have made more money if I'd have done this"

    Very valuable lessons.

Good and bad decisions. If you think you might have made a bad decision, look for the hand history and post it in the hand histories forum to get opinions from others.

They will often need more information than what the histories show. If you read a few of the ones that are posted in that forum you'll see what I'm talking about.

It's like watching video of the game you just played: it gives you perspective -- not to mention details about your performance and that of your opponents that you can analyze.
