Default QQ deep facing awkwardish flop spot

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
    BB ($59.63)
    Hero (UTG) ($47.81)
    MP ($10)
    Button ($38.21)
    SB ($24.75)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q, Q
Hero bets $1.10, MP calls $0.85, 2 folds, BB calls $0.85

    Flop: ($3.40) 5, 7, 2 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3, MP raises to $8.90 (All-In), BB calls $8.90, Hero? ($5.90 to call, $42.9 behind - villian $49.63 behind)

MP is new at the table, and has posted his BB. has bought in for $10 obv.

Villian seems fairly solid, 23/18 10% 3bet and seems to be playing in a fairly standard, straightforward somewhat TAGish manner.

Pre flop: a little bigger open given the poster. MP range is pretty much ATC imo.. imo Villians contains suited connectors, mid pairs, paint. TT+ im pretty sure he 3bets pre trying to isolate MP.

Flop: i bet with in intention of snapping off all of MP's crap, which im ready to do.. but then the BB just cold calls.

Folding seems bad, but reraising seems thin. what is our plan going forward. i dont think i can call both turn and river bets in this spot... maybe i can... thoughts?

There are so few draws in this guys range that a fold seems like the play. Is he going to call with 88-jj? Does he have 68s in his range? I think some of the time you are ahead of BB's cold calling range the issue is that by the time you get to the river you won't be. This smells like some type of set. What's your equity against 22,55,77,88+ about 52%, however this guy 3 bet 10% is that over a large sample? where is he 3 betting most in the blinds? His 3 bet range is very important here because if he like to 3 bet a2s kjs and such but flat aa and kk then this is a different problem. I feel like you have to let this go on the flop because you just can't go for 3 street and there is a non-zero chance that the monkey hit something.

Cliftnotes: You are likely ahead but you can't continue because you are easily bluffed out and 200bb in out of position sucks.

    I am Queens Blvd.
    We're in position here.

!Luck is right though. There are sets here but I don't fold. Villain also calls with some overpairs and it's only ~$6 to call in a ~$24 pot. Rereaising is probably a bad idea as he'll probably just continue with his sets.

I call and re-evaluate the turn looking to b/f.
That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

Yikes...a shove gets rid of the BB with worse, but he'll call with better. Looks like a set to me, he wants you to come along since its not a drawing board, otherwise he would have pushed.

You can only consider calling the flop if you think you can fold to turn aggression.

This is over around 170 hands. not a large sample but enought to get a picture. im at work atm so no access to PT3 and i cant remember off the top of my head where he 3bets most from...

i can beat 88 - JJ, but the top end of that range has to be discounted, 76s, 78s, 68s (if thats in his range... probs not) i dont think A7 shows up here much...

and lose only to sets... unless he shows up with 75s here which is not too likely.. i dont think he has AA or KK here almost ever.. maybe sometimes but meh...
