Default Probe bet Vs. Check raise

So maybe I limp a pot in SB purely for the odds I'm being offered with lets say....

Th8h i have 4 limp asses behind me and the Flop goes: Ts 8d 8s
without know ing much on my opp, should I tease this boat out wit a couple check raises, or should I throw a 1/2 pot or pot in on the flop.

    Another situation Blinds 50 100

    My hand: 8h8s, im utg+2

Im gonn raise bit here to ry to narrow the field maybe 3xBB,

Utg+3 calls, and so does CO, BB is gettin 3 to 1 he calls pot is $1,200

    F: Ac 8d 4s

BB checks, Now I feel like I alost def need to bet, the ace was great for me , there were no 3 bets .

Normally I would check this, and I think its causing a little hole in my game. So what Am I betting here. I should represent Ace-high right, or should I see what the other gumbos are doing with a 1/2 pot???

    thanks guys,
    late

In your first example i would just lead out. Your average micro villain will call a pot sized bet on all the streets. On the hand if you check they will likely check behind.

You should use a hand converter, and include some reads and/or stats on your opponents, as well as the stakes youre playing at.

Otherwise, bet your hands for value.
