preflop questionable play

Ok I was really debating if my preflop call was terrible or not well here goes nothing
6hand (6-max) .02/.05 table my stats were something like 43/34 my stack was(6.75) my villian was about 38/23 I'm in the cutoff he is utg+1 he raises to $.14 there is a mid pos caller. I re-pop to $.90 AsJs after a little thought the original raiser re-pops it again to $2.08??? From this moment I put him on tight range TT+ I called him to see a flop my tought process is we are 6hand both of us have been very attactive at this table and it is likely he is trying to steal with a weak ace or I'm crushed against a bigger ace or pair. I took the flop thinking I can't fold if an ace hits the flop, check folding seems too weak? What is ur opinion

You should convert your hand history into something much more reader-friendly using this:

From what you wrote, I'm not sure whether you have AJ or whether youre trying to put someone on a range. Regardless, a few things you should consider:

- You should consider tightening up ... a lot
- AJs is not a hand you want to be 3betting with against most opponents at 5NL
- As played, you should fold after villain's 4bet and completely forget about seeing a flop. His 4bet range crushes AJ, which is marginal to start with.

But this hand is proof he lives by it!

You have a raise and a caller. Your explanation seems to totally ignore the first caller. He either has a monster PP or at least an ace which removes one of your outs not to mention probably having you out kicked anyway. Just fold pre and wait for a better spot. IMO with a raise and caller, QQ+ and AKs for 3-bet and to call his 4-bet KK+

So you are going to 3bet QQ/AK and fold if he 4bets?

This is just my opinion and probably not correct BUT,
with loose stats like the villian, i'm seeing them fold a lot to my 3 bets and only 4 betting with KK and AA. Not always but loose doesn't necessarily mean stupid. If villian calls my 3 bet rather than raise then i can play based on board texture. I'm no pro here so if i'm dead wrong please explain....(i usually on play FR so playing 6 max may be different)

Okay. Why do we call off 1/3 of our stack with AJs against a range that has us crushed?
