    Default preflop play QQ

    Merge No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) - Merge Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    CO ($28.19)
    Button ($25)
    Hero (SB) ($34.35)
    BB ($25.35)
    UTG ($41.10)
    UTG+1 ($28.79)
    MP1 ($25)
    MP2 ($17.86)
    MP3 ($7.21)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q
    1 fold, UTG+1 bets $0.85, 3 folds, CO calls $0.85, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3.65, 1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $9.95, 1 fold, Hero?

4bettor is 13/11 87% fold to 3bet...i squeeze a lot so idk if he realizes that or not...i usually squeeze as a bluff but here the cold caller is a whale and i wanted to iso him.

    Just muck it?

Against the 4bettors AA/KK/AK range i am a 60/40 dog, im getting odds on an immediate call but i know it doesnt quite work like that, especially when i am going to be towning myself on non A and K flops a good portion of the time, idk how he will react with AK if it misses and if he will even cbet or what. If i call the spr will be a little less than 1 . Shoving is an option i guess, but spoon has pounded into my head that you cannot value bet with less than 50% equity

Fold is fine. With so high fold to 3bet, he is doubtfully up to anything funny (unless you maybe pushed him around real good recently). You might wanna check his 4bet stat.

Spoons right. (Wish I could get that through my own head) Villain's running 13/11 on average, he's probably opening like 6% or less UTG and 4betting a bit less than that. Unless I've got a read that tells me that he can 4bet light/bluff then I think I'm done with it.

lol, it's the heat of battle...almost anyone can look at a HH and say "OK. This looks like the correct play to me." but it's a hell of a lot harder when you're on the felt, hunting a whale only to get speared by the cannibal that you didn't see.

    Edit: FWIW, been there myself..."I got QQ....wat? 4bet?...naw, you're bluffing...fuck, you weren't bluffing...reload...kick myself in the ass."

haha i get this a bit as well with QQ it seems like such a nitty fold at the time because "i haz QQ" but then i review it in more detail after and am like pffft lol

He raised from UTG+1 to 0.85$. Does he always raise to this amount? If it isn't, it seems like he's tryna get value out of his monster had by raising it 3.4xbb instead of standard 3x. Also, he's not trying anything funny here, you didn't make a standard 3bet size, you made it almost 4x, and he 4bet you. With a 3bet-fold like that, calling/shoving would be pretty -EV imo.

im ok with folding here, its just cause i was squeezing and often do squeeze that im not sure how he perceives it

With CO left behind him to act you really think he would choose this spot to spew with a random hand just because your 3bets annoy him?

i always hate it when i get a 4bet over my AK or QQ, but since i lost my BR (3 times at 25nl) by 5bet shoving or calling the 4bet, i learned for myself that even if i get bluffed sometimes by smaller PP or an AK 4bet, the best +EV play is to fold this vs this kind of player.

learn from my mistakes and be happy you can fold this, i wish i could have done it sooner
All posts are just my own opinion about a hand or a general situation... not advices on how you should play...
