Pre all-ins in micro

UTG calls $0.25, 3 folds, Hero bets $1, CO calls $1, 3 folds, UTG raises to $5 (All-In)

Strange play from UTG. Limp then shove. If I call, Im about 90% sure CO will fold. Im not big on calling pre shove but this villain is somwhat tiltish. Any suggestions on Pre all-in's in cash games? And especially in micro stakes where strange plays are almost the norm.

Put each opponent on a range, and for the CO you need to decide what portion of his range calls if you go all-in (since you're basically getting it in on the flop always if for whatever reason you just call and CO calls). Then download PokerStove if you haven't already and figure out if you're +EV.

What I find strange is everyone's stacks size on the table, yours included.

At this level, the hand range for the limp-shove is quite heavily weighted toward big pairs, especially AA. Unless I have some reason to put this particular opponent on a wider range, putting more money in the pot is probably -EV.

Even if his range is AA,KK,QQ you still have equity with AKo. About 30% I believe. Without QQ it's still about 18%.

this is assuming no CO.

1) move down stakes (notice, plural). i played for 6 months before i touched 25nl and can't exactly say i pwned for the first month of playing there.

2) buyin for full.

3) read a lot.
