Okay, I started playing poker again about 2 months ago after a few stints at online poker the last 2 years. The first month back I was able to make about $150 playing mostly SnG ($10) and ring games .15/.25.
This past month as been better. I have been able to make at least $100 a week consistently playing about 6 hours a week. I still play .15/.25 tables but probably lost around $150 playing various tournaments and SnGs. I've now decided to stick with just ring games and try to keep improving my game.
My plan for the past month has been withdrawing any cash above and beyond $150 at the end of the week. This $150 buffer seems to be pretty good at the .15/.25. I got in trouble early one week and dropped down to $90 but was able to make it back up by the end of the week.
I have been playing some .25/.50 tables the past two weeks and don't seem to do as well on them. I'm not busting but I'm not getting the returns I get at the lower level. I haven't been able to figure out if its my play or the play at the table.
Here are my questions:
How much different are the .15/.25 , .25/.50 , .50/$1 , $1/$2 ring games on Pokerstars?
What's a good withdrawl plan for these levels? How much is a good buffer?
Thanks in advance.
