    Default Pokerstars Multi Table [Help]

Hi, lately im trying to multi table a bit more with pokerstars and i am wondering if you can set it up so you can full screen say 4 tables and as an action comes up for each one they queue up so when you do an action on one the next one in line comes up. As far as i know even if you are still making an action on one table the other overrides it before you make the action or after you make the action on the original table the next one doesn't pop up? If anyone can understand what im saying and maybe help me that would be great :P

What you're describing is the case on some other crappier software, but pokerstars already works the way you want it to (for me on Mac at least, and I struggle to believe it's different on Windows)

I'm on windows, and I have no problem with priority on ps. The table I am acting on always remains on top, and then when I have acted, the next one pops up.

The only problem I have is sometimes I click auto-fold, and accidentally action on another table that pops up. So I stop using auto fold when m-tabling.

Pokerstars puts your tables in a queue so when you finish with the first table in the queue, it automatically presents you with the next one. There are two automatic layouts for this - stacked (all on top of each other) or cascaded (on top of each other but slightly offset) - or you can manually arrange your tables with no problems!

I tried this as well but had so many tables popping up when in the middle of making a decision that I just give up. If there is a way to control when they pop up I would appreciate it.

What was the problem Cobra? Are you saying that tables would jump to the front of the queue as soon as they needed action rather than queueing at the back?

People who single-table might also be used to making a decision before it's actually their turn to act. eg. a guy two spots before you raises and you're making your decision about whether or not to call while the action is still on the guy immediately to your right - in that case a table where it is your turn to act would pop up in front. That said, if this is your problem I'd advise just trying to get used to it, as that's far and away the most optimal way for the tables to behave.

Yeah, that's exactly it. I'm not sure if there is a specific setting on PS to sort this out?

I get the feeling there used to be an option in the lobby, but I can't seem to see it there. Why not give it a try again and if it happens then post in the Pokerstars VIP thread to ask for help from the rep here?

    OK, will do. Thanks

Check under Options in the main lobby and Advanced Multi Table Options. Sounds like it might be the option Popup table whenever user action is required. Hope this helps.

That's the one, I have turned it off now. Only problem now is I have to keep checking all tables to see if an action is required?
  14. #14
Yeah, that option should definitely be on.

I have it on fwiw, and they queue perfectly, whether stacked or tiled. I've never cascaded.

    FWIW?

    I don't know what's wrong with it.

FWIW = For what it's worth.

I'd recommend recording your screen when playing: CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software to show us the exact problem. I'd also send the video to Pokerstars Support
