Can Poker Tracker be ran while just observing other tables, not actually playing. Also, does it track other players cards played?

I want to track this guy who plays eight NL $50- $100 tables at a time. He friggen destroys these tables and plays for 7 to 9 hours at a time. I mean he DESTROYS these tables for thousands a day. So is this possible to track him without actually playing > |

I currently don't have Poker Tracker, I suck at using computers also. So I went to the Poker Tracker Form and it looks like theres alot of things that can go wrong with it, which wouldn't be my specialty. OK OK I'm intimidated there I said it. |
