Poker software question

Could anyone tell me if Holdem Manager runs slow when you multi table between about 8 and 10 games at one time? I'm using a different program that starts to run slow when I play any more than four tables at once and I'd like to play a lot more without it slowing me down or effecting my play. Any other thoughts on HEM would be helpful as well. Thanks a lot.

yeah computer issue not HEM sounds like u need more RAM or a faster processor

Unless you have a really old comp (8+ years) it's probably something else.
I'm using an old AMD XP2600 CPU with 512M RAM and I can run PS, HEM, Notecaddy on 9 tables with no troubles.. If you have less than this it's time to upgrade.

There are settings within HEM to increase performance that you can find on the HEM website.

I would think people would ask first, what ver. of HM? What poker site? What operating system? How much ram do you have? What other programs (process) are you running?

I have used HEM with 16 tables on FTP on my laptop and haven't had any problems. Just make sure you have 1gb ram+ and you should be ok. With that said, I'm thinking of switching back to PT (I used PT2 for a while when I started but never got PT3). What program are you using now?

Thanks for the help guys. And currently im using pt2 so yea I suppose it must be my computer, although I'm not sure because it's only a couple months old and doesn't have much on it.
