To train the newbies, maybe instead of answering the questions, if the answer is in a stickey, paste the link, tell them that's where the answer is, ask them to read it and then come back and discuss with you what they learned from thier research and how they would have played the hand differently, etc. Eventually, they should start looking thier first.
This is my current feeling on the subject as well.
