I was down to $24 when I found FTR. "Beating the micros is simple, not easy but simple." I'm not sure who wrote that but I know it was someone on FTR. Beating 2nl is the absolutely simplest thing a person do in their life. All you have to do is put a little effort onto figuring it out. Read the beginners digest, post hands here and quit bitching that you can't beat the game.

Post what stats you have so we can see what you're doing wrong. I bet there are some glaringly obv leaks in your vpip/pfr alone.

And get involved in your own threads for christ sake.

2NL is soft, if you've been consistently losing you have MAJOR leaks in your game. I recently starting playing again and started at 2NL, i've played 2500 hands roughly and am down $1.

So here's why i'm down, and why the game is soft.

I got AA all in preflop twice against low-mid pp's that hit sets on the river.

I had people chase flushes that hit.

I had people chase runner runner flushes that hit.

Here's some more why the game is soft

    people min bet.
people min bet strong hands that can be beaten by draws that hit.
people passively call on all streets with middle pairs
people check all the way to the river both when they hold a good hand, or nothing
people think that a J high flush on a 4 of the same suit board is good
some people think K10o is a preflop all in hand
    ...
    ...

    I could go on.

As was said before, its simple to beat, but not easy. Maybe you are tilting off chips when you've been sucked out on. Maybe you're playing too many hands and bleeding chips. Maybe you're trying to bluff calling stations. Maybe you're not letting go on missed flops with AK/AQ and MrFish is calling with 74o on a 48T board. Maybe you need to learn about pot odds? Maybe you need to realise that AK that made TPTK on the flop isnt that strong if there was 4-5 callers preflop..
