playing K's with an Ace on the flop....

Scenario 1:

I know position plays a role, but, do u automatically fold if u'r holding cowboys, and the flop comes A x x ?

Scenario 2:

holding KQs, same flop?

I never do. If I have Kings there is probably only 1 person that called my preflop bet to begin with.

I will bet it 3-5 somewhere and see what they do. A lot of times you get called with lower pairs that will fold. The only thing I am usually worried about is AK because AA I usually would get a reraise with. Im not too worried about it though and will still bet it to see where they stand.

A lot of times they will fold right there. KQs is kind of hard telling since you arent even paired and would have to hit 2 running cards to help you significantly. That one depends a lot more on other circumstances I guess but KK is never an auto fold.

I have the same problem when a few of the women in this office walk by..

The IT-Dept is right in the middle of the freaking office here. Only good thing is its an office of about 100+ women and 20 guys.. Lots of pretty things to look at.

I lost in the last tourney I was in with KK. I was in late position and the pot got big to me pre-flop. Big enough to take it right there so I moved all in pre flop. The caller had Ace something suited. No ace came on board but he got his flush on the river.

I've also had it the other way where an Ace does come on board. It is a terrible feeling because some players play any Ace. Like everyone said, it helps to do a big pre-flop raise and get those Ax players out.

Thats how I like to play them from early position.

Raise pre-flop, raise on the flop.

Your PFR represented a big hand like AA, don't back down now

See, you bet out twice and own the pot right there.
