Player type terminology: Nit, Rock, Mouse - is there a difference?

I've seen the terms "Nit", "Rock", & "Mouse" used a lot in the forums to describe very tight (& usually passive) players. I'm just wondering if they are all interchangeable terms, or if they refer to somewhat different playing styles?

OMG, this is great. I decided to stay up late and get drunk tonight and I'm rewarded by this post. It's like 4:20 in the AM and I just cracked open the last beer of the night. The anwer my friend is fuck no. They're not remotely similar. WTF were u thinkin'???

nit - Noun: The egg or young form of a louse or other parasitic insect, esp. the egg of a head louse attached to a human hair.

Rock - Noun: a large mass of stone forming a hill, cliff, promontory, or the like.

Mouse - Noun: A small rodent (family Muridae) that typically has a pointed snout, relatively large ears and eyes, and a long tail.
