    Default paradise poker

I have only played on Paradise Poker. Other players keep saying how bad the beats are there. I have had some bad beats, but isnt it the same on all the websites?

    You got it!

Yes. You will get bad beats. Everywhere. Because good players put their money in when they're ahead and sometimes fish get lucky. And yes, this happens at every site.

    Yup yup yup.

You will get more bad beats on paradise than say ... stars, but thats no bad thing.

The point is that the players on paradise are alot worse than some of the other sites so they call with much worst hands. So most of the time they pay you off with awful hands, but occasionally they will suck out and win a big pot from you.

Bad beats are a good sign for a cash player. They mean you are getting your money in when you are ahead. generally the more you get, the fishier your opponents are and the more profitable the game will be over the long term.

But in answer to your question, yes Paradise is the most rigged of all the sites.

Personally I love Paradise. I've had people call me down with pocket 5s and hit a set on the river but I've also had somebody call his entire stack at 25NL with.....(drum roll please) mid-pair no kicker.

    It's great fun.

So yeah it's gonna deal you maybe more bad beats than comparable sites but it's also gonna be a lot more profitable when the fish call you down.

nah my favorite thing is when they raise preflop, you reraise with AA, they re-re-raise, and you re-re-re-raise all-in, and they call.

    And they've got A7o.

    that is the best.

Yeah, Paradise is THE most rigged. I've played there for almost three years, almost exclusively, so I think I can say that with some authority.

I am still there, in fact. Crazy?

Yeah I've won most of my earnings at Paradise. And yes I've had a lot of bad beats there but nothing my bankroll can't handle. Wish they'd upgrade their software though. My Paradise table skin is replaced by an FTR logo compliments of a fellow FTR member.

Strange, I like their software. Fast, smooth and easy to use. Have you played at Inter or Pacific? I don't know about Party recently, but when I tried it a year or so ago it was dismal.

    Paradise is Paradise

The SnG's are the eaisest I have found. This is because the overall poor level of play (although they do have quite a few good tournment players.) This poor level of play does result in more bad beats, but as others have mentioned, bad beats are good, it means somebody called when you had the best of it.
    Thanks,

It is noteworthy how Paradise has gone from being considered one of the toughest sites to being one of the softest around now. Two or more years ago, it was, apparently, full of sharks and players avid to learn. Guess that they've done a lot of advertising in bars or something.
