opp min raises in EP

how often have you seen this. Villian min raises in EP you have a good hand like AK so u want to isolate and therefor you have to raise so you end up re-raising like 8xBB or something thing. the flop falls and hits no one lets say it hits a K, you C-bet and villian goes all in.
