    Default Odds Calculator

I just watched a Poker SnG video ,where the "commentator" was using some pot odds calculator that he 'attached' into the interface or something. My first thoughts was that this was unfair, I do all the pot odds calculations in my head and thus I am not going to be that accurate. But I couldn't see how it can be illegal, the guy wasn't cheating per se. The calculator was just giving pot odds and odds-to-win etc.
Do lots of serious online players use this? Or is this frowned upon amongst regular players?
After watching the guy play following 'Calculateem Pro' it didn't seem like it was that beneficial; any decent player who knows basic poker theorem should be able to play just as well without it.
On a side note, in case anyone knows of the video i'm talking about, the guy in the video was awful, he was just all-in or fold pre-flop.

Edit: Ah I just saw the same program and a similar one on the FTR pokertools webpage. Stupid me. I guess my other question about how many people use it and how does the online community think about this is still relevant.

    Default p0ker indicator odds calculator

I started playing in march and switch to NL in june and had a lot of trouble understanding pot odds, and outs. I got Poker Indicator which gives starting hand odds, pot odds and outs and gives likely opponent hands. Also shows you the hand so if you multitable like I do you know what you had in the hole and know what you could have gotten. It does not give advice. I have found it useful early on it teaching me about odds and outs, I still use it mostly for letting me know what cards I had in a hand I folded. Now I am trying to use it to try to figure out what my opponent has using his betting style and the probable hands I am facing.

It is free to use for play money and I got it free with Party Poker to use with real money. I think it is a useful tool for a beginner like myself.
