    Default November Summary

Here's my stats from November. If you see anything drastically wrong with my stats, let me know and I will work on that this month. Thanks

wondering where the 3 extra chairs at my 6max table came from
Tighten up and don't open limp in early position.
Be more positionally aware - you're playing almost the same % from all positions.
Your PFR & VPIP should ideally be closer. Looks like you're limping behind a lot from late MP and the CO (ie. 17.52/8.9 pos 2) Raise limpers more when you have position.

This is a tiny, tiny sample, so don't put too much weight on any of these stats until you're north of at least 10K hands. But those are some immediate thoughts.

Thanks for the tips. I'll definitely take them into consideration.

Yeah I wish I could play more, but the whole busy college student thing kinda took over so I don't get to play as much as I would like. 2000 hands in a month is actually pretty sad haha.

i dunno about tighten up... 14/9 is pretty nitty. Call less raises and raise more, probably isolate with a wider range instead of limping behind. also steal more get that up to 30% min.

Tighten up comment only referred to EP ... same as the open limp in the same sentence... I think 15% VPIP from UTG is on the loose side IMHO.

pokerstove says this is top 30% 55+,A2s+,K5s+,Q7s+,J8s+, T8s+,98s,A7o+,A5o,K9o+,Q9o+,J9o+,T9o. I would probably add SCs into there and drop hands like Q7s that don't play well postflop.

It depends a lot on the player though. Against tight players out of the blinds, you should raise this and maybe more. Against loose players who fold to cbet a lot, raise a lot, vs. loose player who don't fold much postflop you need to tighten up your starting hand requirements.

yeah 15% from UTG is a little loose...

So, in general, I'm guessing if I attempted to steal the blinds, get called, then miss my flop I should just shut down rather than try to go for a steal? Not worth losing more money if they actually have a hand, correct?

Vil dependent... also dependent on board texture. If they fold to C-bet too much, fire away... remember, you still have position. If it's a good board... 4K9r for example... I'd fire away. If they still call, and you whiff the Turn, odds are good they'll give you the option to take a free card and see the River. Or if they bet out on the Turn and you're unimproved it's an easy fold. Some ABC things you can do that will help you make more out of the value of your position.... Just remember, it is all very player dependent.

Yeah that makes sense. Plus I'll have position so if they check flop I might as well take a shot at it.
