I'd raise bigger PF, at least 3x if not 4x. What do you expect him to fold when he's getting great odds and is guaranteed to play a heads up pot in pos?

    Leading flop is fine imo.

I'd like continuing on the turn a lot more if you were in position. oop its a lot harder to get value on the river when you do hit.

    Newbie perspective.

I am getting worried that he has called PF and I would fold flop after a 1.3x pot raise, especially oop. I have read that overbets like this may suggest a player is nervously bluffing. However, I am too inexperienced to risk this. I don't think I will get value in calling.

In a similar situation (heads up, oop on marginal-good hand) I would bet more aggressively 5xBB PF or just fold.

Yes, I agree that folding turn is best here. Calling flop is probably ok because I have more impplied odds when I hit the flush in the turn (they usually peel light the turn). But I agree that my impplied odds are not great in the river and that a 2/3 pot sized bet is not going to be called as often as I would need to.

Concerning steal size bets, I think that they are usually not worried about the amount. They would 3 bet, fold or call with the same range and frequency regardless of the sizing. There is always some donk that calls with 83o because he thinks it is profitable to do so, but I'm always ahead of their range.

I've noticed that the overall 3bet frequency is higher at FTP, especially when you are opening light from the button. That's why it can be better to bet smaller or at least vary your bet sizing PF (nobody is paying attention on that anyways).

Just on this point. You say SB is a good reg (regular?) with 24/14 over 62 hands. I would therefore assume SB would take notice of 5x BB bet PF and only call/3bet a good hand.
