    Default New Year Daily Double

    Hand 1: $25NL - AA

Villain is 16/6 over 31 hands. Folded to a cbet 1/3. Most of his limp/calling range is pocket pairs and maybe some A3s/JTs-type hands. He's played all of is hands from EP or the SB so positionally aware he is not = fish. He's calling the flop with 55-99, Qx, flush draws but I wouldn't count out something like 87. I think I should have bet/folded this turn, however his turn bet is horrible and I'm obviously calling, hoping for the board to pair on the river. This hand is so much easier IP.

    Hand 2: $50NL - AQo

This hand was on Cake, no stats. But villain is a known aggro-fish, and evidently he doubles as a calling station. I'm well ahead of his range preflop and players behind are not-squeezish so flatting here is kool. I feel comfortable getting it all in with TPTK against this dude, but I think my flop bet is ugly. Pretty standard vs a presumed maniac-turned station?

Hand 1, I think you should be making sure alot more money goes in ott, for value and to charge draws. If he has a flush, you still have alot of outs. I'm committed on this turn. The river's fine of course.

Hand 2, bet bigger otf. Since he's short, you'll be playing for stacks here and you want him committed by the river. That's minor tho.

    Overall both hands look fine.

Hand 1: Bet turn. You're both semi-bluffing and valuebetting, as if you're beat you have 10 outs, and if you're good you're putting more in the pot, so its a win-win situation. If he raises your turn bet, assume he has a flush and figure out what your pot odds are to see if you're calling his bet. If he just calls, you're most likely ahead unless another heart hits river.

Hand 2: Bet more on flop. Betting more causes the pot to increase, and you can therefore get more in on safe turns, essentially commiting him without him seeing all 5 cards first. you went $2 > $5.50 > $18, a healthier bet progression woulda been $3.50 > $8 > AI or so. NH though, you're prolly good here vs his KQ/QJ alot.

its already been covered, hand 1 is fine except not betting on the turn, doesnt have to be big but def still bet.

and on hand 2 i would bet more on the flop so that your river shove doesnt have to be so scary. Idk how stationy he is but some people are going to find folds to your river bet with KQ/QJ, whereas if you had bet more on other streets they would never be getting away

hand 1, did you check to keep him in cos thats a pretty scary turn or were you scared of it. Seems like the kind of line i would've taken and I'm shit.

hand 2, why did you choose to bet less than half the pot on the flop? It seems like a strange thing to do vs a station if he'll call 2 he'll call 3.5 right?

    sorry this isn't even constructive
