Most of the time it's much better to bet 3/4 - Pot sized bets when you're betting. If you bet less, your opponent will have very good odds to hit hands or to get a cheap showdown with an inferior hand.

    What Martin said.

I don't know how loose or weak those games are preflop, but I got for 4 x bb + 1 x bb for every limper, or maybe just 4 x bb.

2/3 pot size bets whenever you make a bet is a good general rule to start with.

imo, at lower micro-stakes, you need to bet at least double the "normal" bet to have anyone take you seriously. while you may be playing correctly "by the books," you shouldnt forget you ARE playing at a .01/.02 table. this is not an insult at the size of the game, just a statement about the fact your opponents most likely dont care as much as you do about the money/lack of that they are calling with.

if you would bet 3/4 the pot, bet 1 1/2 the pot. and so on. you will still get callers, as no one respects a dime anymore...lol. if i were your opponent, i might RR you just for fun. if you call me, what do i care? it was .50. lots of those guys at your game.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!
