When I'm in the CO or BTN I will open with pretty wide if folded to me depending on which players are left to act. If they are likely to fold, I'll open ATC. If they are likely to call, I'll open with Broadways, PP's & 78s+ mostly. Playing this way, my attempt to steal is 37%, success w/o seeing flop is 63%, won w/o showdown is 81%, won $ at SD is 52%. My CO VPIP/PFR is 23/18 and BTN VPIP/PFR is 30/22. Overall VPIP/PFR is 19/14 for comparison. Around 35k hand sample.
I generally try to avoid cold calling with easily dominated hands like KQ, AQ, AJ etc.
Open limping in LP is inherently weak. If I see someone do this, it's auto-raise for me until they showdown something good.
