Hello, this is my forst post and I just wanted to present myself by telling my experience with poker.

I discovered poker watching TV, Celeb Poker or the championship thing (dont remember which came first).

Once upon a time... I was at home, bored, no one to go out with, etc. and remembered about poker championships I saw las night. I googled texas holdem, ran into a site called HoldemPoker.com and downloaded the software. I figured that I would learn the rules of the game by following the buttons in the game...

To start off, I never even thinked of putting money in, I was playing on play money, just to have some fun, and learned the game from there.

Some time later, I decided to invest about 20$ in poker, but due to problems with my card (I own debit card, no credit) I couldn't load money. I figured that pther poker rooms would be able to load money so that I could play, and then I came accross Everest Poker. I quickly fell in love with the software, and started playing right away. Couldn't load money, again...

So there I was, messing around with the software, when I find myself in a STT with free entrance and real money prizes, no bonus, but real money. That was the first time I got into a tournament, and was happy as hell.

Now I am 5 cents away from playing my first real money game, and this is what I learned about SnG, MTT and ring games:

For a ring game, I can stay all day long, play passive, camp for good cards, etc.

For tournaments, on the other side, I had to be much more aggressive, try to play my opponents when I got a slight possibility to win, etc.

Once I read in this site, don't remember which part, that a good poker player is someone that plays with both his cards and his opponents. Well, I'd like to thank whoever wrote that, because I then realised that I had a lot more to win than just my cards. Since then I always win, I am currently waiting for a 30$ freeroll, maybe get in the top 50, and start playin cash, without even investing a nickel.

Hello to everyone! I am new! Welcome me pleaseeee! :P
