    Default My odd statistical anomaly

In the last 4.8K hands I've had KK exactly 40 times, while I 've had AA 15 times. My AA is slightly lower than than what is expected while my KK is twice as high. Normally I wouldn't of noticed this but when you start seeing KK on 3/4 of your tables a few times it makes you wanna check!

No real substance to this post just something odd I noticed!

Yeah KK is hot. Played 1.2k hands yesterday

    AA: 1x (this sucks)
    KK: 8x
    QQ: 5x

    KK is teh pwn.

In my 12k hands so far this month my top 5 hands are these in order:

    KK [56 times]
    QQ [51]
    AA [49]
    98s (pwn) [32]
    TT [64]

And the hand I have had the most (which is my highest net loss hand)

I heard Party found a bunch a extra kings lying around and started putting extras in every deck. Two nights ago I had KK five times in 24 minutes at the same table. Ridiculous. Net result = -$32.50. Two pre-flop folds around, two folds heads-up on the flop, and one big loss to AA

i have a question im trying to figure out if its variance or what.

my straights and boats have both lost me money. anyone else in the negative on their straights and boats? my sample size is obviously way too small, but i just thought it was odd i was losing money on straights and boats.

Losing money with straights maybe over a small sample size... but with boats??? How are you negative with a boat?

I guess everyone has their "problem hands". Over the last 10k hands of $50nl, Straights have won 100% of the time and boats 100% of the time for me. My problem is flushes and 2 pr. Both have won only 60% of the show downs...mostly flush over flush and set over 2 pr when I lose. Both have netted me a whopping ~$70 each while boats have made me $600 and straights (I hardly ever hit them) have made me only $137 even though I have won every showdown.

I think over time (20k hands+), this will even out. So, while your numbers are unusual, it's due to the low sample size.
