My NL 1/2 stats after 30,000 hands
Hello, haven't posted in a little while, because I took a bit of a break from poker a few months ago. Needed some money, so I started playing regularly again. Below are my poker stats for the first 30,000 hands at 1/2 NL. I've been playing poker now for over 2 years and I've always been a winning player. The reason I'm posting my stats is because I respect the advice on this site and I'd appreciate any advice anyone can give.
Please don't respond if you've never at least been a winning player at 50/1 or higher. I appreciate your thoughts, but I'm most interested in help w/ my leaks from people playing similar levels as me and beating the game, preferrably 1/2.
I have a few specific concerns that I think could be leaks in my game.
1. My blind play. I tend to play extremely aggressive from late positions, but just give up my blinds to any kind of raise and frequently folding the SB to no raise at all. I could see this as a leak and I've been experimenting with changing this style. I'm not interested in any kind of blind aggression advice or any kind of blind "defending my blinds" calling station advice. However, I am extremely interested in some advice about some specific situations where I can change it up and be more aggressive here. Overall, I'm happy being weak in the blinds, because I don't particularly like to get into big pots OOP w/ moderate holdings (I make most of my money from the other side of this coin in late position). Nonetheless, I am definitely to predictable here and I do want to change it up.
2. My turn play. I raise a lot from late position and I am pretty strong w/ my continuation bets. This has been profitable for me. However, I believe I might have a leak on my turn play. Specifically, I am concerned about this scenario or ones similar.
-I make a preflop raise from late positionw/ KQ
-I get called by a tight player (I play on pokerstars and honestly half the table is tight, or thinks they are)
-I get top pair on a pretty safe board.
-I bet my usual continuation of about 2/3 pot and villain calls
-I'm worried here, there aren't any draws, so why is this nit calling me.
Now, I'm stuck at the turn and here is my problem. A good portion of the time, villain has a middle PP or even missed the flop w/ AQ or something and I am losing value if I don't keep firing away on the turn.
The other good portion of the time, villain has a monster or at least AK (lets assume I paired my K) and I am spewing chips on the turn and possibly getting called down.
I have errored towards checking turn and calling or raising river. However, I've been up against enough idiots lately calling flop bets w/ nothing that I am concerned that I am not getting value in this situation.
****Anyway, those are my biggest concerns right now and I would greatly appreciate any advice.
Thanks,
