    Default Multitabling

    Hi all,

I don't know whether this post should be in the beginners forum but I'm a beginner so....! If the moderatrs feel it is better placed somewhere else can they please move it. Thanks.

I am multitabling at Europoker and have done at Paradise Poker as well. My question is how do people Multitable over 4 tables as all the "table screens" overlap with just 4 tables open. I have heard people multitabling 8 tables????????

Do you have special screens or is it your screen resolution? As I say I can't have 4 tables open and see the clearly. In fact I can't even have 2 screens open without overlap.

    Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Larger size monitors can have screen resolution up to and above 1600x1200 (usually 19" CRT/LCD and above). A 1600x1200 resolution can run 4 tables without overlap.

Now if you use a dual monitor video card and hook up two of these 1600x1200 monitors, you can run 8 tables with no overlap.

Hope this helps, and welcome to FTR.

I just play with them overlapping. Why do you care about the overlap? reads?

I never had a problem playing with overlap on my old 15" 1024x768, but after playing on my 1600x1200 for a few months, I absolutely could not play with overlap again when I played on a smaller monitor when visiting my brother.

It's a bit like watching a HDTV - it's fine watching a regular TV, but when you watch a HDTV for a while, it's impossible to enjoy watching a regular TV again.
