Moving up the Ranks?

This topic may have been addressed, but I personally could not find it.

Put simply, at what point do I get to raise the stakes? I recently deposited $80's as my bankroll at PStars and I am playing the lowest micro stakes in NLHE cash games. As you can imagine, my bankroll has not increased by a substantial margin as of yet (it is on the up and up though... yay), but I want to know what my bankroll needs to be at before I can move up in the stakes and what those stakes should be.

Is there a system of slowly upping the stakes progressively based on type of increase in my BKR, and do you find that players play the game differently depending on the stakes?
