I am not so sure about that. If I am impatient in that long
line, it's because I am steaming about the waste of my precious time caused by whatever f*cked up business or administration not putting sufficient resources to adequately cope with the amount of people in the
line. In an ideal economic world, I would
walk away and go to the business next door possibly at a little extra cost. In the real world, there is probably no business next door or alternative administration and I can't exercise my homo-economicus choices.
So should I just sh*t the fuck up and take it up the arse like a sheep or
call the
boss and flock him in front of everyone for his poor management skills? It mostly won't change the situation, but at least it let the
steam out and I spoke my mind. And the idea is that if everyone did it, then it
would change the situation. It is similar to queue jumpers in traffic jams, a specialty in the part of the world I live in. I
never let these guys
squeeze in the queue in front of me (by sticking to the bumper of the guy in front). If everybody did that, there would be no queue jumpers and the world would be a better place. But instead, people behave like sheep and let those assholes
squeeze in, so they have good reason to do it...
As for repeated bad beats, I am
well past the outrage, but it still causes me to take breaks longer than they should be ("scared of playing again" thing and finding excuses not to play). I need to get that under control.
