Don't make the same sized bet on the turn. I'm assuming you mean, 3/4 bet on flop is $2, so you make another $2 bet on turn.
TPGK is not a big pot hand. If your flop bet gets called and you get pushed off the hand later, fine you lost a small pot. If you remember that player, use the same line with a stronger hand (e.g. set) and take his stack.
If there are obvious draws on the board, be more likely to bet the turn. If it's a spread rainbow board and you are WA/WB and checking the turn is preferable.
If you are OOP. Bet flop, check/fold turn (call small bets) is a pretty standard line for TPGK.
