    Default making reads on opponents

i know this is key for all levels and forms of poker but its just kind of hard to develop reads in sngs and mtts online with multiple games going on at the same time and such, i was just wondering for some tips and categories to label people and what each category means as far as what someone is likely and not likely to do. Any help would be appreciated

If you are multitabling, you need to get PT and PAHUD to provide you with stats on your opponents. This lets you label each opponent as loose or tight, passive or aggressive and allows you to act accordingly.

there was another thread like this in the SH forum, check it out- http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...ighlight=reads

I basically try to categorize them first, these are mostly self explanatory like "calling station," but other ones I kinda made up, like "abc tag" is someone who is somethong like 19/14 in short handed and cbets almost every time heads up but shuts down if they have nothing
then I try to pick up on tendencies and make a note on them, such as betting patterns with certain hands or boards (like how they play a draw vs a set if there's a difference), how loose they call, etc.

you can usually get those programs free, kinda like a bonus, when you sign up through certain websites. maybe even through FTR.

Check tools of poker and the poker tracker website. You don't need PA Hud right away if you can't afford it, or anyone else can't afford it. PT has Gametime + which is free, but sucks compared to PAHud. Details are all there.

I think it's a good idea to try both poker office and poker tracker. They're both very good, but people usually prefer one over the other.
