Default Looking to move up in limits

I've been playing .01/.02 2NL on UltimateBet for a few weeks now and I've managed to turn $50 into $110. I feel like I'm playing reasonably well, and would like to move up to a higher limit, but don't feel like my bankroll can support 10NL.

Can anyone reccomend a poker room that offers .02/.04 4NL or perhaps 5NL? If it has a good bonus that's not too hard to clear, all the better!

I don't know of any sites that offer 02/04 NL. But Stars offers $5NL (but its actually justa 250bb buyin 01/02 NL blind game). Just keep at your game and in no time you'll be bankrolled (15 buyins) for 10NL!

I don't want to be rude but clearing a bonus at limits below 25NL is all but impossible

I would say go ahead and give $10NL a shot. I doubt the play is much different from $2NL. I'd drop back to $2NL if you end up having a bad run and losing a few buy-ins right off the bat. otherwise, you'll be 'properly' bankrolled for $10NL in no time

TotalPoker has a $100 bonus you can clear at the 10NL table (at least they did 2 months ago).

Plus the $1 and $3 SnG are insanely easy. The software sucks (no HH), so get out after you clear the bonus.

How easy is the $100 bonus to clear? It sounds like it would do wonders for my bankroll

I think 1000 raked hands ($30 after 300, $70 after another 700). A raked hand here is any hand that a rake is collected. So 3 limpers, 5c rake. Bam, there's one hand.

This was the second site I played at for a bonus. This was only the second place I played so I was basically even through the first 500, but then stared turning a profit towards the end. So, if you're already comfortable then you should make far more than the bonus.

You have to withdraw whole dollars, so I left $4.76 in the account and built that back up to $180 before finally closing the account (the software seriously blows).

G-luck (not that you'll need it).

You're right. I transferred my money there, but the software is quite attrocious. The players at 10NL seem to be quite bad though.. worse than the 2NL on UltimateBet even. I literally saw 9 people in for the flop 3 hands in a row at one table.

My only concern is that I have no idea if they actually rake their 10NL tables or not. There's no info about it anywhere that I can find, and nothing that tracks the number of raked hands you've actually played.

Right, forgot about that. You have to e-mail support and they'll respond within 24 hours (I was impressed with their support, especially since the site is so bad).

    totalpoker @pokerresponse.com
Note: I inserted a space so it wouldn't auto link

Everytime I was done playing I would forward the same e-mail. The money will automatically be deposited as soon as you clear a level

Ok, turns out they do rake their 10NL (or at least some of the pots) so the bonus should be possible to clear, at least. I'm also up to $125 now, so so far, so good

Hey Im working on this bonus right now. Ill see how it goes, played for about 45 mintues 3 tabling 10NL(started with 1 and moved up when I got used to the software)

My first hand there, AA, 8 people limp, Button min raises SB calls, I in BB raise to .7 Button calls, flops K,X,X with two matching suit, I push, he calls with AK. I know my push may seem a lil retarted but I had watched the guy play for an orbit and he looked the kinda guy who would call a push on the flop if he hit any of it.

    On the 10NL bonus topic....
    Total Poker = Boss poker
Boss Poker, you can sign up 3 of them from one computer. After that, sign on a different computer, then play on your usual computer.
Easier Boss bonuses == Presto Poker = $25 for 100 contributed raked hands and CasinoDOTnet = $100 for 500 crh.
After that, there are a ton for 1000 hands -- check out EasyT's 25NL sticky thread -- I listed a bunch.
    I'm a know-it-all.

    No, really.

Does this mean I can open another account and collect another bonus? Do I need a different Neteller account to do this?

No, I mean, now that you've signed Total, you can also sign CasinoDOTnet and Presto. After that, you need to be creative to add more Boss rooms -- and I know that the 2nd computer signup method works -- there might be other methods.

pokerstars has 5NL as spoonitnow say but skip it if you want to get rich.

If you want to be a good poker player then 5nL will teach you and make you a better poker player but it is HARD for a microstakes game. I have worked up the bankroll for paradise 10NL after playing pokerstars 5NL for ever and paradise is sooo much easier. Paradise 10NL is insanely easy compared to the 5NL pokerstars game.

My suggestion for anyone starting would be to plug $50 into stars as a start because it really will teach you the game. After that you can play the 10NL games at other sites and move up relativly fast.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

I agree with all that, and you won't be wasting a larger bonus when signing PStars with a small BR -- they don't have signup bonuses.
