Hey whats up FTR. So i've been lurkin around here for like years probly but never actually signed up. Was pretty happy just reading over everything all yall got to say.

Anyways, about me. I'm 24, from Colorado, been playing for like 4 years?? dunno, exactly. I'm a baker up in the mountains but that just pays the bills so I can go snowboarding. Number one passion, poker would be number two. Anyways snows all gone and i want to get back to playing serious again.

So I don't know when exactly I found FTR but it was a huge help when I did. I started same as everybody, I put 50$ into Pokerstars and started from there(pre FTR). I wasn't actually a losing player. I was very careful with my first deposit. Didn't know anything about Bankroll Management but I knew I didn't have skills enough to play anything higher than .01/.02. So there i stayed for a long time, probly too long at like one maybe 2 tables. I started off losing like probly 20$ of my first deposit, but eventually found some kind of game and started winning not sure how tho. Got up to like 100$ or so and took a few shots at like 5NL usually blew a buyin and then stayed at 2NL again forever. Went like this for like a year or two. 2NL always with a couple shots at higher only to get spanked and move back. I kinda donked around a few different games likes the SNGs/MTTs/5NL but when ever i took a big hit i'd drop.

Eventually somehow got a decent roll of like 500$ between everything after a couple of years. Then i started looking around on how to improve my game and I found FTR. From there I decided I needed some goals and FTR provided plenty of study material. So then I started my mission. Went with BRM setup but i decided to forget about the 500$ in my account and start from scratch. Go thru the stakes bankroll allowing but not including my 500$. And so I went. Maybe a month or so at 2NL, couple more at 5nl, few more at 10NL-ok so now i have 1250 time for 25NL (-500 remember). BRICK WALL!! I read it over and over here that 25NL is the breaking point for all the microstakers. Well I got stuck too.
Probly lost like 200$ at 25NL (i know 10 buyins at a level and drop) but i wasnt feeling it. So i went back down to 10NL built back up to like 1350$ this time took another shot. Stuck again.

Well then after a rough winter of snowboarding i ended up gettin a torn meniscus in my right knee. Needed surgery, no insurance etc..etc... 8000$ bill from the docs. So I decided to take 100$ a month from my poker account to help with the bills. Did alright for like a month or two but then i started to get burned out grinding the 10NL. Starting spewing, game was getting bad, i know plenty of you guys know bout that. Managed to hover around 1000$ for sometime started gettin my sh!t together again. Then XMas rolls around and I'm broke as hell and need money for presents. Think I had bout 1100$ decided to take out 600$ for presents. (this was last Xmas BTW sorry my timeline is bad but i dont remember it all very good anyways). So anyways back to like 500$ish, burnt out on cash games decide to try SNG grinding. Start out the same way pretty much 1.20s-3.40s-5.50s and some MTTs in there too. Did good got back up to about 1K then again brick wall. Start to get bored and burnt out and my game suffered. Went to pretty much break even. Between like 900-1000.

I recently read Robbs opp and as he meant it to be it was inspirational. Because his started where mine ended. I started playing cash again. Overrolled currently for 10NL but my game is so off after doing SNGs for a few months that 25NL was out of the question.

So anyways thats my whole story, now i would like to start playing cash again seriously and take a similar approach to robb. Not starting an OP yet but i would like to soon. I got some stuff i really need to work on, and im hoping maybe for a bit of help from u guys. Asskissing aside you guys are the shit ive been roaming here for years and just seeing how helpful u are to all the members. I could definately use help/advice/whatever so here i am.

Some of my own problems i know of:
Get bored SOOOO quickly but still like to play. end up playing too many tables or watching tv or cruising thru FTR in between hands. So focus is definatly a problem.
Discipline is OK but definatly needs work.
Probly ass loads of actual game leaks that I just cant seem to get a hold of.
I've been around for a while, dont think im a losing player but im definatly not where i think i should be at this point. Hoping for some help maybe taking me to the next level (25NL AND BEYOND) ya know.

yo anyways sorry that was long but so umm hey FTR.
