Default Live Game, tough spot, super deep.

Playing a 10nl live game, deep stack buy ins. I'm the 2nd best at the table, and the best player at the table has position on me.

Effective stacks are 45 bucks. 4 players

    Hero Button with Ah 5d

    1 fold
    Hero raises to .30
    Sb calls
    bb folds

    Flop Ac Ad 2 h

    SB checks
    Hero bets .50
    SB raises to 2.00
    Hero calls

    Turn 4s

    Villain bets 5
    hero...

He's a really good player. I don't hesitate to suggest that if he's not better than me, I would be surprised. We are the only ones on level 1 at any point in a hand. He's tight aggressive, but also understands that with the minraise retard crap that gets played, he can see cheap flops and hope to maximize his return based on terrible, terrible play. He's also demonstrated he's willing to play back in dangerous spots with me, and that he'll float me with the intention of stealing in pots where he thinks I'm just blind stealing.

He also respects me because I got my money in good against him in the sit and go to win the tournament before we started the cash game.

The rest of the hand, as played:
    ...Hero raises to 15
    Villain Shoves
    Hero snap calls.

-Ninja edit because Rezirra is right. I wrote that 2 beers deep after 6 hours of pokerin at like 3:30 in the AM.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes
