there's huge variance involved in loose live games, so i think you need larger BR than online to play 1-2 NL live. Keep it in mind that its easily down a few buy-ins vs casino donks / gamblers in multiway pot when your overpair got cracked by flush/gunshot/weak two pairs loose chasers. Also, you need to raise 6-10BB to thin the field in some loose passive games and spot some obvious poker tells at the table |

By setting a stop loss like 3 buy-ins in NL games, we can justify walking away from the table.On the other hand, i like Ferguson 10% Rule " if any time during a No-Limit or Pot-Limit cash-game session my money on the table represents more than 10 percent of my total bankroll, I must leave the game when the blinds reach me". |
