Default KK wants to fold pre

I had just 2 orbits or so on the guy, he was running 35/12 or something like that so he looked like a fish, or at least rather passive at any rate. His UTG limp/3bet makes me wanna puke fold pre, but I don't. This was his first 3bet I'd seen from him. I thought not 4betting might help keep JJ and QQ in there, in case it's in his range to begin with. Flop... I c/c to get a cbet out of JJ and AK, but I didn't think he was crazy enough to have those hands in his turn shove range.

    MP ($5.94)
    Button ($0.83)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, K
UTG calls $0.05, 3 folds, Hero bets $0.25, UTG raises to $0.75, Hero calls $0.50

    Flop: ($1.52) Q, 6, 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $0.75, Hero calls $0.75

    Turn: ($3.02) 5 (2 players)

    Total pot: $3.02 | Rake: $0.13

I'd 4bet pre-flop 100% of the time. I'm happy to get it in pre, and if he flats the 4bet we at least want to have the initiative going to the flop since we will be playing OOP.

I am either re-raising all in pre flop or if not they are all going in after the flop. I am certainly not folding in this situation.

If you think he only shoves QQ+ then you're right to fold obv. If you add AQ to his range does that give enough equity to call? If so I think you're mad folding.

How can you want to fold (implying you put Villain on exactly { AA }), and then call IP to keep { QQ,JJ } in his range?

Anyway... is there a question here?

He's not saying villain has exactly AA. QQ, KK & AA would be a fold.

MMM, w.r.t. preflop, I called because my brain kept JJ and QQ in his range even though my gut said {AA}.

With AQ in his range it's a snap call obviously but, you guys really think this villain limp/3bets that here?

Yes i would include it, i'v seen guys that limp 3-bet 22-AA and always call off all-ins with 22-TT.

Anyway, no need to slow-play kings pre-flop at 5nl facing an utg limp 3-bet line, they're most likely looking to get there stack in pre-flop and you have >60% equity vs his range, ship the nickels bro.

Honestly 2 orbits isn't enough for me to worry about getting it in pre here. He more than likely stacks off pre with his entire range if we 4 bet and his range will have AK in it as well as some other shit sometimes.

I knew my answer to this post after reading the subject. The only thing that would have swayed me is if this was deep, but it is not.

Fish are fish for a reason. They might show up with AA pre sometimes, but you have to re-raise this pre. They aren't finding a fold with QQ/JJ anyhow, so calling to keep those hands in doesn't make sense.

Never folding after taking this line, your hand is vastly underrepped and you've done what you can to keep his range as wide as possible. If you had a good read that villain is a supernit you could muck somewhere, but this is not the time.

yep i share the same opinion too, can't fold on that all in on the river there if you called all the way till there...

    My first post.

    2 orbits, 5 handed, so 10 hands.....

Stats DO NOT MATTER. You cannot read anything into his tendencies.

You either (IMO) 4 bet pre, or donk this flop, with the intention to GII.

No way I am folding here....EVER.

EDIT: and just 4 bet pre.....

I would 4bet preflop ive seen people limp 3bet and 5bet shove with AQ at these stakes ,but as played i think you have to call the river, you have 52% equity against QQ+,AQs,AQo
