The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

Opp was 39/11 over 100 hands

It's just a tough river decision Because A) I think I'm giving too much value to guys who are gettin' me on the river, and this guy is loose, but B) He seemed relatively straightforward, meaning he'd have probably try to get it on at the flop or at least the turn.

No reason to raise and you're good here too often to fold. Very easy call imo. Your check on the turn and the fact that you're in position means your hand is underrepresented so he doesn't have to have a Q or boat here. If you're giving too much value on the river it's not in spots like this. If he's straightforward I'd say he has like 9hXh or 7hXh enough to make this a profitable call.
