so what do you think of this hand? his turn raise could be 78s or sets, thats why I call, to hit a flush a get his whole stack...
but what about this 6 river, which completes fullhouse? call or fold

call turn is marginal -ev. fine with implied odds.. dont much like folding after calling the turn. your only in to hit a flush, dont hit and fold. set probably should raise flop so 78 is a perhaps a more likely holding. Hate commenting without stats though.

would be great if you could provide even just a brief explanation of what you consider before arriving at that. I respect your opinion and trust that you're likely correct, but i don't learn anything from it when its presented like that.

but you learn a lot more when you can trust that the answer is correct and then from there figure out the why, than if you just read an explanation! yay!

How about this for a novel idea:

Instead of complaining that bikes doesn't explain why his answer is correct, maybe you would like to try to figure out why it is correct and then ask him if your reasoning is accurate or if you need to re-think.
That way you actually are learning how to think about the game instead of learning which moves to make without understanding the why behind those moves.

if you'd read the first paragraph of my post you may have been able to infer that despite the lack of detail i had calculated the pot odds, arriving at a requirement of 23% equity. chance to hit flush approximately 19%.. to make it +ev we need a minimum extra $1 in on the river, which should be easy in a pot this size.

I also state a rushed and rough reasoning for why i don't like folding on the river, as was asked about in OP.

..I also considered the possibility of JJ doing this, but thats tough to say without reads, and we have a blocker.

Also note that if you read the history correctly, villains river bet covers our stack so the only option is call. And while i didnt state it check/call is fine because turn raise from villain is so strong and he will often shove the river. Which is likely better than betting because it would look a bit like a hit flush. Calling is easy vs folding. $2.55 loss when villain has FH. $~7.60 won when he has 78. which means he has to have 78 33% of the time and FH the rest, and i state that i think 78 is his most likely holding. And this of course doesn't account for microstakes spaz.

This was never meant as an attack on him, it was just a request. If it came across as a complaint then i'm sorry bikes, it was not my intention.

for the record, I wasnt looking for an in-depth explanation. If i'm on the right track with my thoughts a great response would probably be this, without ever having posted the correct answer -

on the turn consider pot/implied odds.
on the river consider your equity vs the villains range.

Call turn with implied odds and c/rai river as he shouldn't have a fullhouse/better flush almost ever.

His turn raising range is 87 and the unlikely 66. Our pot odds aren't quite good enough but factoring in our implied odds makes this a call.

As played we can't ck/ship river since we're calling all in, obviously call.
