Our house rules are: We reverse the act if it's agreed which card should have actually been shown. If then neither side agrees, we just return the burn cards into the deck. Shuffle and burn again and deal a new river. This situation has come up a few times, but the last time it was in jest for one guy was drawing dead into the river to a made straight.
