AQ is a monster. Almost as good as AK if you can get 0-2 other players seeing a flop. AQ only fears AK, AA, KK and QQ which are all longshots to show up (although I don't have precise number yet.)
AK gets top pair on the flop just over 32% of the time. Otherwise you have two overs.
AQ gets top pair on the flop just under 30% of the time and the King only shows up under 20% of the time leaving you with two overs around 50% of the time.
