Default I need help playing the SB

What do you do when you have a crap hand when you're the SB? In any other position, it's an easy fold. In BB, check/fold. But SB. Waht do you do? Do you limp and try to see the flop at a discount? Or do you just throw it away, not wanting to waste your time? Usually tossing them away is the right decision, but sometimes you end up throwing away a monster.

Waht do you consider? Number of limpers before you? Your read of the BB? Your own chip stack? Are there any hard and fast rules?

Usually, I bet it 3xbb if it folds/limps to me unless the limpers are major callers.

Put it this way: nobody has voiced a good hand, you can fold and lose your SB, or bet 55 to win 35 if you think you can fold people out 40% of the time. Don't push your luck here though.

Depends on the crap hand. Anything that has a reasonable chance to turn in to a monster(74, 45, 46 etc). I play. They have outs when you get your draw and not a friggin person ever expects these hands if you hit 2 pair when their A horrible kicker drops.

The way I play is I will call only the BB with a large number (5-6) limpers (these are drawing hands remember). And fold to any raise except a MIN by the BB that makes it back to me. This is of course at a full table with standard # of fishy players and such.

2 fishy limpers and the rest folds I'd probably raise 3-4xBB to try and take it down here, or set up to rep that A when it falls, OR I hit and watch the complaints about the bad beat as they reload their stacks

I agree with ya there in the small blind i will get rid of crap hands k/6 j/3 10/5 suited/unsuited etc. But sometimes i will call with 4/5 6/7 etc but i dont really like to call standard raises of 3x or 4x unless i see my hand as being premium...a/a k/k q/q a/k 10/10 j/j (the latter 3 u must be even more careful with)

Or if i feel they got a a/q and say ill have a 7/8 why not do it. But most of the time the 7/8 suited will be a waste of money. and if i dont flop to it ill simple get outta the hand. this of course will depend on my chip stack if i wanna call it or not.
