Absolutely true. I find that calmly reviewing my hands in HEM when all is said and done usually makes me feel alot better. Especially when after fair analyses there is no spew to be seen. And when i notice some spew it just feels like i learned why it was spew.
Poker in general comes with a price. If u play well and run bad. That's the price of the game. If u play bad and run bad, it'll be even more expensive. And vice versa ofcourse. Even when u played a few hands bad but you honestly tried to play it to your best of your abilities , it's all good.
It's only after i started to treat poker like some sort of complex videogame that tiltemotions started to fade away while grinding. I tried everything to get rid of my tilt blow ups. Nothing worked until i treated it as a fun videogame with levels. Like now i'm playing level 1 and i treat my buy ins as ' credits'. Maybe i can amass more credits while playing level 1 and i might even get to level 2 ( higher buy ins).
That's how i look at it. Old school videogames like in the arcade
