Ok, so plays like these bug me. I was about 20th hand in at this table, and the only read I had on this guy was a single donk play he made earlier (I forget exactly what it was). So I bet decently at the flop to try and discourage the flush draws (perhaps it wasnt enough), and this dude just minreraises me. From then on I started playing like an idiot though I think, but what makes me reflect on this hand is: what should I do in the future against someone who isnt so Laggy or fishy? Were they holding a pocket pair and flopped the house? Or holding the same hand as me? How confident should I be with those insane raises, because I almost folded when he pushed.....and that would have sucked.

This is a standard call. Always should be. There is loads of things he could have that he would push with that you can beat.

isn't all that checking OOP a bad idea since a good player will finally just see the showdown without pushing?

I have to admit thats my weakness in poker. Whenever I have a decent to good hand I get nervous about someone catching the draw or having a better hand than me, and so when Im faced with overbetting or bluffs like that I have trouble calling them down or reraising. Any suggestions on how to get over that?
