Although I have no experience at that level stakes I'm going to say its just something that comes with the territory at 50nl. At his lowest point he was only down around 5 BI's or so. Which honestly isn't a MAJOR drop in your BR (but obviously it still blows). Plenty of people go on a lot worse losing sessions.
And judging by the upswings in the graph I think ipoq got enough of a game to beat 50nl eventually.
And as for the OP I say just move ur roll to stars and play the 10nl games. Soon enough you will be able to switch back over to FT (if you want that is  ).
